Nate’s a kid, he doesn’t have a huge bank account. It was nice of him to go and buy a book for his sister that he didn’t want to go get. Now he may not have the money to buy a replacement gift.

You’re right, at least in this case. Nate’s full name is Nate Wright. Nate isn’t short for Nathan, and he has no middle name.
