Cell phones. He owns Telcel and several other franchises. He figured out that not everyone could buy a computer, and not everyone could buy a cell phone, so what he did is that he practically gives away cell phones, but he lives on what everyone pays him for the costs of the calls.

Illegal? Don’t think so, it was legal the moment the Mexican government sold the landline telephone co. and allowed competition to come in 15 years ago. Unethical? Well, as long as people make cell phone calls, they have to pay. The last time I went to Telcel they were, literally, giving away phone NUMBERS (i.e., a phone line).
It all comes back on the bill.
No, he’s not the 1%, if that’s what you’re wondering. In Mexico, 16 families control 80% of the wealth. Still lopsided, but not THAT lopsided.

I always thought the world’s richesh man was either Rockefeller or Roshchild. But I knew that out of a hugh nation like Mexico there are only about 2 dozen rich families. They should take care of their own people and not expect us to!
