cleo, I replied to your slanderous comment yesterday. I do get up well before noon, but I have my devotions and meditation in the morning, plus other things before logging on here.

So, in summary:

Thank you JFri! I can understand why Dry thinks i sleep in until noon, see above. And since i have no regular work, I do have the option of sleeping in when I want to, but I try to stick to a decent morning routine.

And to clarify, although I log off early to go to bed, I also read in bed, so it is not as early as you think. I just need to turn off the computer to settle down.

Why am I telling you all this?

Where’s Marg?

Well our new TV and blu-ray player are here. I can’t get started on setting everything up until she is here to help me lift the TV onto it’s stand. Then comes the fun part, finding out how much things have changed since I last set up a TV. groan

When was the last time you set up a T.V. cleo? You don’t just plug it in and adjust the rabbit’s ears anymore.

Thanks Shika, I met LilG in 2003 and I had my TV set up for several years at that time. Let’s just guess 15 years. :-)

HOLY CRAP CLEO! 50 INCHES!??!

Yes Dry, this is all LilG’s doing. I am content to watch movies on my IPad. LOL

This comes from the woman who wants no part of cable, but she does love her movies. I am part of it because with her working this is our one time together aside from dinner.

It just struck me that I am 5’2". Your T.V. is 2" shorter than me. although I think the 50 " is across diagonally, right?

It is the diagonal, I think. Good evening all! My dad just bought a huge TV. He was really proud of it, and the fact that he could set it up, the last time that I was at home.

I set up my own T.V. about 8 years ago I think. The one i won in a sales contest at work and just gave away.

Your dad did good (did well, but you know what I mean). Instructions for setting up electronics are confusing.

My youngest bought himself a 37" big flat screen from his KFC earnings, and that is big to me! He has it at school now, and brings it home on long breaks, which we will cart back tmr. for Christmas break. Our two boys bought us a flat screen 27" Sanyo for Christmas last year. That is quite nice, and big enough. Youngest’s is a Vizio. When he’s home he puts it on his Entertainment Center, which he built in shop class his senior year in H.S. It is BEAUTIFUL! I sent JFri pictures of it, but I don’t think I sent them to any of you, but it is QUITE impressive, and I’m not just saying that because I’m his mom. It is lovely, and fits perfectly in his room.

And the Entertainment Center is BIG! It is a really NICE piece of furniture, I’ll tell you!

Flat screen T.V.s are great Dry. Mine was a 36" tube T.V.What is a Vizio? It sounds impressive.

Good thing no one around here can do math……

You guys are confused as to the size of my TV. My screen is 50", which I measured from the lower left hand corner to the upper right hand corner or visa versa. Shika, you are taller than my TV. If you are 5’2" you are 62".

And cleo gets to move to the front of the math class.

On that dizzy and nonsensical exchange, I am going to cut my losses and say

Good night Shika. I am sure your knight in rusting armour will be by momentarilly. I myself am often measured on the horizontal.
