Caulfield: Passenger pigeons may have been the most abundant bird ever. So abundant, people thought they would last forever. And so easy to hunt that they didn't. Mrs. Olsen: Thank you for that excellent report. Caulfield: Thanks for the second chance and the third one. Frazz: That wrapped up quick. Caulfield: Sometimes it does when the quarry gets difficult.

When I was a kid on an Arkansaw* farm, the lightning bugs were thick…and beautiful. And I haven’t seen one in…a very long time.
(and that’s how you spell the state’s name if you’re REAL)
