My biggest concern when I drew this strip was that you wouldn’t be able to tell that Pickles is wearing a sweater like Spitsy’s. But I think you can see it pretty clearly.
And just how does Nate know that it’s the SAME sweater? It’s quite possible that Spitsy has lots of identical sweaters (somewhat like Little Dot’s closetful of pink dresses with black polka-dots).
Also didn’t occur to him that the sweater Spitsy was knitting could be for Pickles—until Pickles showed up sporting it!
