Like a war vet who ducks for cover at the sound of a backfire, I’ve been traumatized enough by the death of so many comics that I’m now hypersensitive to anything that looks like a final sequence. Could this be the end of C&B? The new year sounds like a good time for contracts to end.
(I’d bet several bucks that Bob the Squirrel is ending.)
This is a throwback to Calvin and Hobbes when they did the same thing (sledding off a hill). I started reading this comic because it was likened to C&H and I have not been disappointed.

This is a weird strip.

Good thing too. If I wanted boring and predictable, I’d read Mary Worth, or Rex Humbard, DD.

I’ve seen a horse fly but never a cow.
