    I had a friend in HS that lost a bet and had to jump into a kiddie pool of jello. Also, at my college every year we have what’s called the Jell-o Slide. You jump in a kiddie pool of jello, spread it all over yourself and then see how far down a slip-n-slide you can make it down. Good times!

    Do you people not realize there is an INTERNATIONAL DATE line? For example, Kiribati is an island that was split by the International Date Line. They moved it recently, and they are now UTC+14… basically, if it’s 12am on Dec 31 in Hawaii, it’s 12am Jan 1 in Kiribati. See http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/UTC%2B14:00

    Also, I never said I was personally 6 hours into the New Year, just that Earth was. Now, currently Earth is around 12.5 hours into the new year.
