Yes, it was, thank you for asking. I’m in a lot of pain (foot surgery is one of the worst), but I’m flying high to the oldies on Oxycodone. I can’t put any weight on my foot for 2 months, which leads to some creative maneuvers.

To this day when I see a hat air balloon, I say, “It is Ballooooon!” with a Hekawi inflectionThanks, Dogsniff, for letting me know I was being mentioned here. I am unconscionably late (blame the overlords where I work), but I support Gaijinrabbit 100%. Acupuncture will certainly help your recover and with the discomfort. I broke my back in several places and acupuncture not only made me more comfortable, but helped in the healing process by aiding the microcirculation in my vertebrae. My orthopedist, an old-fashioned dude if there ever was one, was amazed by how fast my bones healed.
I am digging Eagleskies’s model aircraft photos. I love that stuff. Got a huge, radio controlled 747 in my garage that I could never get to fly very well, but it sure is grand to look at.
Also, Joan Collins! All this “cougar” business you hear about in the popular vernacular these days? You can trace all that shit right back to the 1980s and “Dynasty,” in which Joan conditioned all us Generation X-ers to accept that “50” and “hawtt” are not mutually exclusive terms.
Is that Jason Robards picture of Jason Robards Sr. or Jason Robards Jr.?The shape of the face looks a bit more like his father’s and the photo looks quite old. The person looks to be in their 20’s and Jason Robards (Jr.) was born in 1922.
