That’s funny. Your gut still says you’re full.
Having seen so many of my favorite cartoons die, maybe I’m reading too much into it, but that fortune sounds too much like a premonition.
Sure hope you guys are wrong. This one is very close to the top of my favorites list. But, the way I read that fortune was that the feeling of fullness from eating oriental food is fleeting.
Did you ever eat at a German-Chinese restaurant? Half an hour later your hungry for power.
I love this strip. Little dog and tortoise are the perfect antidote for my days. They run the gamut from hilarious to poignant.
So I vote that the fortune cookie is saying that they are out of Chinese food just when little dog is hungry again!
