At first I thought Santa had just gotten tired of Rudolph, but now I see it’s a balloon head deer, so I’m confused. I HATE starting the new year confused. And yet, I do it every year.
Not Santa, not Rudolph. With the orange ring of hair, polka dot clothes and oversized shoes, that’s Bozo the clown. The balloon deer is just a part of it. The red honking nose (like Bozo’s own) is the real capper.
I think it’s about the symmetry. The clown’s hair, the log burning on both sides, the reindeer’s antlers and the doors on the fireplace. I had to enlarge it to even be able to come up with that, but I don’t see anything funny here.
