Rip Haywire by Dan Thompson for January 05, 2012
Transcript:
Rip: I promise, mac, Axe Jefferson is going to be back in your jail by the time all this is over. Even if I get caught, no one will know you helped! You'll just look like a weak and foolish old man, no big! Cactus: If you're going to lock me in here, how 'bout my whusky and my harlequin romance in the top drawer of my desk, amigo. Rip: Ooo - can I borrow that when you're finished? Cactus: Can't - yer paw needs it fer book club on Thursday.

Of course, he could be talking about the “whusky.” Heaven knows I’d need it for a Harlequin book club.

What Manly Men, they are. Always a soft spot for romance.

Dutch may not make that book club, considering his condition last time we saw him.

Nice to know tough guys like Rip and Mac can still appreciate romance novels! Having said that, I prefer suspense and adventure stories with Howard Hawks-style romance, i.e. very UN-Harlequin Romance! :-))

Men Men Men Men Manly Men….lol…at least they read although I would think they would be more into Kay Hoopers Thrillogies if they want romance and ACTION! However, HUGPOUNCESZZZ to all the Haywire Hooligans!!!

I honestly love “paranormal erotica” – like the Black Dagger Brotherhood series (vampires) and Lords of the Underworld series (demons/etc). Every once in a great while, I will read a cheesy “bodice buster” but I like the darker stuff erotica much better.
