Reminds me of the joke: How many [ethnic] mothers does it take to change a light bulb? None, “You kids just go on and have fun while I sit here alone in the dark.” And according to a priest of my acquaintance, Irish mothers are every bit the equal of Jewish mothers when it comes to laying on the guilt.
Not only are my children nice to me, even their friends are. I just received a lovely gift from a friend of my daughter. I always liked her and she is a friend on my FaceBook, too as are my kids and the grandkids who use that.

Yeah, those mothers are not typical of the ones I know. The ones I know take the bull by the horns and solve their problems.
