The whole fierce cry of the bull ape thing really worked well for Weismuller. I haven’t seen any of those flicks in years and years but still remember that bull ape fierce cry bit. Really slick.

Bruce Bennett’s Tarzan Yell was a bit anemic in Burroughs’ own film made in Guatemala in 1935 and released-both as a 12 chapter serial(“The New Adventures Of Tarzan”) and a feature film(Tarzan and the Green Goddess"). Bruce Bennett’s real name was Herman Brix -born 1906 and died in 2007. Buster Crabbe’s cry was also thin in Tarzan The Fearless"-MGM had the rights to the wonderful and only yell most of us liked and became hoarse trying to imitate.

Mr. Celardo’s artwork is getting better all of the time as this story progresses. I guess our nattily-attired, young “attractive” man (according to Tarzan), will not be getting his nice clothes shredded…..yet! :)=

Well, one thing – if you put a hyphen before and after a text string without padding it with a space, you get a crossed out sentence. It looks like that’s what Quartermain did.
