The best artist for Tarzan was Burne Hogarth by universal consensus. Harold Foster the second. Celardo in many ways imitates both of them with a few exceptions. One artist that introduced tarzan to me in my youth was Jesse Marsh. he drew a very acceptable Tarzan working from his home in southern california that was published all around the world. His comics belong to the golden age of the genre.

I’m not that into Tarzan comics, but the illustrations are just so incredible, I can’t help but read! Oh, for the days of talented artists…

Bob Lubbers also did a good job on illustrating the Tarzan series for several years back around 2000.
