I’ll guess his rudder has jammed to the right or left. I had right rudder cable trouble once: it left me with little right rudder. Left rudder control was fine. I had to bank more and pull back on the stick more on a right turn. So I gained some altitude when I did it. Altitude is good. But hey, even in the normal pattern it’s all left turns. The only moment of ‘Real Concern’ was when I landed. But it turned out okay. No change in cross wind necessitated the need for right rudder, ‘Whew.’ I’m sure you all wanted to hear/read about my harrowing flight. Hmm. It was August 1st, not May 1st.

I’d like to wish a Happy Mayday to everyone I work with, but pilots and air traffic controllers have no sense of humour about these sorts of things.

So we were at the state fair and I was entered in the milking contest and this cow was not being cooperative and oh, wait, “Rudder” control. Not udder.
