I’m young enough to have a child under 10, yet old enough to hide the gray and lie about me age. I also talk to myself because like some of the other commenters, I seem to be the only one that listens to me. Good to know I’m not alone out here.
I think it has more to do with who will listen than how old you are.. My soninlaw { age 55 } spends a lot of time talking to himself, but I {73 next month] have all these youngsters to keep in line and rarely have time for a good conversation with myself.
Oh heck. you’re all a bunch of kids .;^) I ran smAch dab into 88 last yr, & I’m still goin’ strong.(I keep telling myself ) Still love the comics & really enjoy the comments.Happy New Yr. to all.
I “hit” 50 five years ago. Everything since then has been one long drawn-out crash. Pieces are still falling off, and it’s a b__ch getting replacement parts…

I’ve been losing arguments with myself for years. Maybe if I take myself to lunch I can iron out my differences.

I can, but it was from American History class and not personal experience. I still say mileage counts tho.

I’m the same way – and most of the time, I’m the only one who will listen to me!

I once asked my Mom which made her feel older, turning 75, or having a daughter turning 50… Or more recently, becoming a great-grandmother!

I talk to myself because I’m the only one who can figure out what I’m talking about.

Where were all you septuagenarians on Friday when I was being “saluted” on my 62nd birthday as the oldest codger at “Citizen Dog?!”
