Really? Racism John and Scott? I thought MLK was about character, not color. So cliche.

I’m sure Ed meant our American heritage (once again…true need for a sarcasm font)…Racism hurts the entire culture…Side note…can we please keep Government employees home more often?….the drive to work this morning was great!

Agreed Ed was just being lazy and looking for any excuse to get out of work.

The only character that actually shares my views is Jay. The others are just talking in character.

Sorry, but this is all wrong. MLK saw a day of equality and color blindness. This black identity theme is in contravention of what Dr. King wanted to accomplish. OK as a comic, but the commentary is rediculous.

Is it impossible to be “color-blind” and multi-cultural at the same time? There are many cultures for each color, (i.e. the gypsies of Europe) and a lot of colors share the same cultures — Our president and congress, for example. Hooray for MLK making it easier for us all to think that color and culture do not have to be barriers to brotherhood.

Remember Ed has tried to take St Patricks day off due to his Leprechaun ancestry.

The only way for a “Color-Blind” society to develop is for it (Race/Color) to stop being a determinant for ANYTHING.

THAT will not happen as long as the Government keeps “designating” groups for this or that special treatment.

“A difference that IS no matter DOESN’T matter.”

King definitely is part of all of our American heritage…our civil rights heritage.

As were the founding fathers against the British. All change starts with rebellion. No mail means it is a real holiday.
