Transcript:
Bucky: Psst! Are you alone? Satchel: No. Bucky: Who's here? Satchel: Well... You. Bucky: Aw, fer... Anyone besides me?! Satchel: Raisin muffin. Bucky: Ok, forget that. As you know, my life has been a quest to find answers to life's mysteries. And now I have an interesting tale... Satchel: Rob says you slammed it in a door when you were little. Bucky: Ok, focus here, Satchel. I believe I have found the root of all evil. Satchel: That potato looks like Hitler? Yeah, Rob showed me that, too. Bucky: I fear you cannot help me on my quest. Satchel: Aw, why not? Bucky: I suspect you lack moral fiber. Satchel: Ok, insult me all you want. But I'll thank you to leave my muffin out of it.

7th panel⊠so rare a comic makes me laugh rather than just smile, but that one little panel did so

Absolutely Excellent. Loved it!

Just like Bill Wattersonâs best drawing were the expressions on Hobbesâs face, Darbyâs work on Buckyâs facial expressions is superb.

I have to comment that you should NEVER feed raisins to a dog or cat. Love the comic, but need to let them know, raisins are poison to animals and can cause kidney failure. Hate to be a downer, but it is very serious. Thank you for letting me chime in.

No, Satchel, potatoes are stems, not roots.

There are those times when it would be great to have a friend who would listen and the greatness of spirit to followâŠinto whatever unique doorway had openedâŠAND give me the grace and ability to BE that for othersâŠsometimes!
Much of life, for me, is talking about what others are capable of recognizingâŠmany comments and roles in todayâs stripâŠ

Kinda reminds me of Groucho and Chico discussing any subject.

Iâm bearish about Buckyâs morals and I find his attitude overbearing. However, his logic is the catâs meow!

Actually, I think Satchâs got the way to handle Bucky! Go PuP!

Nice one âdarbâ. This was almost as interesting and witty as the Hobby Lobby ad on the back of the comics section today.

To the people complaining about how raisins are dangerous to animals, have you noticed they eat anything the humans eat in this comic (except Bucky doesnât like veggies)? Itâs like Garfield with his lasagna, youâre not supposed to take that seriously.

wouldnât a Potato Hilter be the tuberous stem of all evil?
