That organ is worth much more than $50,000, and moving it from one building to another would have cost more than $50,000, too. It also has 65 keys on each manual, rather than the usual 61, and I’d estimate it should have 1200–1500 pipes.
(However, it is not impossible that it could have been in a house; I’ve seen a few—a very, very few.)
Nothing was as bad as Locher’s “Dick Tracy” (except maybe “State of the Union”). I for one enjoy what is currently going on in GA and am sure that I am not the only one. It is time for all the whiners to give it a rest.
