Over reaction. Table for one.I remember those days when if I put my shirt on backwards I thought my head was on backwards. Then I found out that my head really was on backwards. Now, I can see where I’ve been but keep crashing into where I’m going.
@DavidGBA,Pray tell! ‘Owl’ say!Calvin is a very designing person, but God is far superior (with no waste)! The Patriots could have used an owl in the Super Bowl “as it flies around for another pass”.
There used to be an old wives tale that if you found an owl on a perch, you could walk round and round the perch until he twisted his neck off. Although it would appear he was keeping his eyes on you, he could only twist the 270? degrees but swing back to the starting point so rapidly that it just appeared he was following you. (Never did figure out why someone would want an owl to commit suicide.)
A really little kid can actually convince himself of such things. Calvin’s a bit old for this, but he’s immature in some ways, precocious in others. A wonderfully conceived character. So is Hobbes.

Careful with that belly button, kid. If it unscrews, your butt’ll fall off.

Calvin may be Linda Blair’s son from “The Exorcist” because thought his head is backward.
hazardboy almost 13 years ago
Linda Blair’s not a real person. She’s just an actress in that movie—————so there——Ha.

More than 180 allows it to follow prey behind as it flies around for another pass. 380 or so would be nice.

You have to wonder what Calvin would have to say in passing that WOULD starttle his mother out of her morning paper and cup of coffee.

It probably started to get the brim of a baseball cap out of the way and then became a fashion.
