The Saddle-Sore Songmeister! SLIM STUBBY! MAN: Okay...slim...for this TV commercial we'll need to film you lip-syncing some of your greatest hits! SLIM: Whoa whoa! Why should I lip-synch? Why can't I just make new recordings of those old songs? MAN2: Because that's not what people want. They want to hear the old songs exactly as they remember them! They don't want to hear them redone! SLIM: I...I don't know what you mean. MAN2: Three words, Slim: Monkees Reunion Tour." SLIM: Yaaaa!

For those who don’t get it: Slim was told to lip sync his greatest hits instead of record them because people wanted to hear Slim singing the way he used to. His voice might have changed now and the people wouldn’t feel nostalgic about it.
