Let’s face it: Life at the South Pole would bore many of us out of our minds.

I doubt the accuracy of the 300 club item. Even at the south pole, minus 100 F is not the norm. I have been in sweats that were very hot, but much cooler than 200, you can get burns at cooler temperatures than that.

Too much time – too much alcohol – not enough brains.

You might wind up in Jeffery’s condition doing the 300.
