If you don’t know chocolate is toxic to dogs, then this cartoon means something completely different.

I’m just surprised that the cat could WRITE a note and that the dog could READ it.

I was thinking more along the lines of a doomed Romeo and Juliet type love affair, forbidden love, you know? :-D

And yes, I know chocolate is toxic to dogs, but some dogs it doesn’t bother.

I hope that dog’s intelligent enough to sniff out the poison or toxic herbs in that candy.

As a kid, I had a cat who would steal Hershey’s kisses out of the candy dish, unwrap and eat them. Never seemed to hurt him.

Chocolates for the dog. Oh so wrong, on so may levels. Bittersweet irony.
