Transcript:
When they got lost during a hunting trip in Newfoundland, Canada, on Dec. 6, 2011- Stephen and Sheila Joyce skinned a young moose and wrapped themselves in the pelt to keep warm until being rescued! Orb weaver spiders protect themselves from marauding ants by covering their webs in chemical bug repellent! Li Xin, a Chinese stuntman, balances upside down with his head on a metal spike, supporting the full weight of his body!

Poor moose.

Hope Li Xin never needs a skull operation or a hair transplant with a skull that thick.

I know those people! We were all worried about them, but everything turned out alright. We now call them “Skywalker and Solo” and greet them with “And you thought they smelled bad on the OUTSIDE!”

Cornerbrook, Newfoundland (where the story took place) is one of the most amazing places I’ve seen.. don’t let this dissuade you from visiting some day!

Geez, I knew someone was going to have more pity for the moose than for the people…

Replying to Grey Piper’s comment:“You’d rather those two people froze to death?”
Nice attempt at playing the guilt card… but the facts are, it was their own ineptitude that got them into the situation without carrying proper survival equipment… so I’d rather they weren’t out there at all.You ‘family’ with these folks, or just a ‘kindred spirit’ Grey Piper?

I hope they put the nice warm fur against themselves, and the yechhy insides outside… now to track down the long forgotten Smothers Brothers song about “skinsideinside” rabbit fur… which I had forgotten about for decades, until just now…
