Back many years ago in upstate New York, my dad always went out the upstairs window and shoveled his way down to the back door. That’s so us kids could get to the out-house. I don’t have that problem in Florida!

I love this strip, but why does Danae have a horse and is it a real horse or an imaginary horse like Calvin and Hobbes?

And after the work is completed, the tax would continue forever. We have underground cables, still lose power from time to time. Not fun when you need an oxygen concentrator to breathe.

Projects end, taxes continue. Politician figures out another way to spend the money, then asks for more when another “necessary improvement” comes along.

This is precisely why even though I have a snowblower in the garage- 15 feet from my back door- the snow shovel hangs on a hook at the top of the basement stairs all year. First you have to GET to the garage.

Come on! Don’t give up. All you need Danae is a springboard, a little more running room, and a mini trampoline on Lucy’s back. (and don’t forget the blowdryer on high)
