    Where did they get the rubber? That kind of sling shot was invented in the 1920’s – 30’s after red rubber inner tubes were available. As a kid, I used to make them out of the old red rubber inter tubes. Of course black inner tubes won’t work because they are not real rubber and cannot stretch like rubber.
