This happens to some siblings as well—particularly twins.

Love the last name – LOL!!A friend’s stepfather died this past Christmas eve, and while she was with her mom visiting his gravesite a few days later, she turned blue and fell over. While they tried to save her, she died a week after him on New Year’s eve. Sometimes, the heart just breaks without your loved one.

My X died the same year as my father. I tried to help my dad with his reluctance to eat with stomach cancer (I am in favor of medical MJ for bedridden terminal patents) I think it might have given some appetite to him, but the best I could do legally were sublingual vitamins.

There was a story in the Baltimore Sun about a year or so ago about an old man who died and was put into cold storage for a week or so instead of having a typical viewing within days of his passing. When they did have his viewing, he was laid in his casket with an urn under his arm. Seems his wife had been as terminally ill as he and they were just waiting for her inevitable passing; when she died within days of him, she was cremated and her remains buried with him in his casket. Sounds creepy synopsized like that; the article portrayed it much better.
