    @JG, you need a new punch line.We used to have a parrot that spent a lot of time on top of his cage. He’d flap his wings like mad, but never got air-borne. The cats were terrified of him!

    I had a parakeet that was sweet tempered and said all kinds of words. But once and awhile, he’d start flapping his wings and shrieking. I know he wanted out of that cage. But we had a dog and cat too.

    My daughter has two cockatoos they allow loose in the house most of the time. Those birds shriek constantly. I can hear them in the background over the phone.

    My Canary hates it outside his cage, he feels safe in there and gets watered and fed just fine, if he gets out he panics and calls the anxiety call till he’s back in.
