WHYISITS?
Why is it that some people have no idea how ridiculous they sound?
Girl: Like, I said, like, you're kidding and like, she was, like...
Gabby: Someone must have clicked her "Like" button.
I’m fascinated by how a lot of the baby boomers (they’re the generation behind mine) say “y’know” constantly. They’ve got it down to where they can say it in what seems like less than one syllable. Even Hillary does this.
People often use nonsense fillers such as “um” in an unconscious effort to keep from forfeiting their position as current speaker while they’re searching for the next word or phrase. Whether “like” falls entirely into that category, I’m not sure. It is inordinately annoying, at any rate.

Why is it Kevin & Mike stuck in a boring endless loop of “whyisits?” Move on.
