BC 13: (I added this yesterday - thought I’d repeat it today in case you hadn’t seen it. I like it MUCH better than Comics.com)
Why, thank you, BC13, you genius, you. You can also find “Strange Brew” and many of these comics (and more, such as “Pearls Before Swine” and “Get Fuzzy”) here at Yahoo:
http://news.yahoo.com/comics/strange-brew
(You also won’t have to put up with the infuriating slowness of Comics.com)
I missed your comment yesterday, but I use Comics.com as an alternative to gocomics when something goes wrong here. There are a couple of strips that I like, however that are available at comics.com only, like
Peanuts, Marmadule, etc. Also, comics.com has the other strips I
like (like BC) in color.
I also like seattlepi.com for comics like Blondie, Hi & Louis, Hagar the Horible and Beatle Bailey.
A business near my home has a pond that is somehow heated (don’t know if it’s a drainage pond or what) but all cold winter long, there are ducks and geese that just won’t leave.
Ushindi Thank you very much for this link. It has things
I miss in Gocomics (Herman etc) But how
can we possibly live without the verbal
diarrhea of Gocomics comments?
BC13: Yahoo has Marmaduke and Peanuts, but has BC in B&W, it appears.
Bargrove: I know what you mean about the comments - I used to check LuAnn just to read how seriously people took that strip. It was funny, but trying to negotiate Comics.com was like being on “dial-up”, as far as I was concerned. I quit my account last year and have never gone back.
