Baldo by Hector D. Cantú and Carlos Castellanos for February 14, 2012
February 13, 2012
February 15, 2012
Transcript:
Baldo: Dad, you made mistakes when you were my age, right? Dad: Baldo, I made mistakes all the time. Dad: My biggest mistake was telling my Dad my biggest mistakes! Dad: Whoo boy! That vejito was soooo... Dad: Wait... I'm off point, aren't I?
What Papi is telling Baldo is, “I’m not going to blow my stack like my Dad did. I might get angry, but I’ll control myself and try to help.” One thing Papi clearly understands is that there’s no point in telling Baldo how big a mistake he made because Baldo already knows that.
