Those who choose to breed their dogs are getting paid to have dogs put to sleep. It’s a simple matter of supply and demand – the supply of dogs far exceeds the demand, so the excess supply has to be eliminated. If you choose to increase the supply without creating a corresponding increase in demand (by providing every single one of your puppies to people who would not get a dog at all if they didn’t get one of your puppies), then you are making the problem worse. Those who choose not to spay or neuter their pets should be spayed or neutered themselves.

I registered my pure-bred Boxer as “Colonel Lee’s Pugilistic Puppy”. Get it?

Since registered names have a limit on how long they can be, I’d say the rest are just silly nicknames.
