Still on the side of my file cabinet in my office, where DRAMA played out. LACK OF PLANNING ON YOUR PART, DOES NOT CONSTITUTE AN EMERGENCY ON MY PART. Bought 3 copies for my daughters, 2 have already asked for one, the other is coming along.
Saaaaay, word IS theres gonna be a “New” character introduced this month in the strip.
No doubt, it’ll be some “guy” who is unbearably handsome and “perfect” like Mr. Oz. Somebody for the “gals” to compete for.
But for a change of pace Greg, how about making the new comer female?
A female who is NOT Annoyingly Socially Conscious, or Brainy AND Bitchy, or an Exchange student from some foreign country who is subject to return at any time, or someone OBSESSED with herself, or a COMPLETE and Total FLAKE.
You Know, Kinda NORMAL this time around. PLEASE?
Oh, and Give Her a PAIR of GREAT, BIG …., EYES!
Betcha THOUGHT I wuz gonna say Boobs, huh?Ooops…..,
I have a 5 year old nephew and he just gives the mad, serious face and starts crying in such a heartbreaking way. That’s sometimes how he used to get me to say yes.
Nice try Lu, but you can’t throw a tantrum, you throw a show. ;)
It does seem she is always broke. But then Elwood with his millions doesn’t seem to interest her. She strikes me as a person who has no interest in money until there is something she wants right then.
Well, Pavlov would say, have her do the performance again, and veto it. EVERY time. Eventually it extinguishes. If you EVER reward it, it’ll return in SPADES.
Or you can avoid the first one. Distract and redirect it and all subsequent others until it never gets into the repetoire…
She can’t get a job until Greg draws a strip with her getting a job in it, this is a comic, she does not have free will. I hope there is no more Gunther tomorrow, or Tiffany, or Delta. Those story lines have become stale.

It is great to see Luann. Let’s hope the bullying story-line is over for now. Happy Sunday!

Dads like to get what they paid for – Moms get weary of the repetition.

Thats RIGHT, Frank.Get Luann to do that Oscar Losing Performance again.
…., and THEN Say “NO”.

I always find myself asking, “How old are you Luann?” Because even at 17, she seems to behave much more like my 13 year old daughter.

I like today’s strip because of the masterful way the tantrum is portrayed. All four of my grandkids combined never did anything this magnificent.
