Sounds like most of the 99%ers to me.The hate to work part!!

Ain’t that the truth, I would like you to meet our local post office workers.

In many government agencies, as is true in most large organizations, some employees are able to fly under the radar and do little. However, in my experience, most government employees (at least at the municipal level) work quite hard. And the salaried employees generally work a ton of extra hours without compensation. Yes, government can be incredibly inefficient, but that’s more a function of politics (agencies being pulled in a hundred different directions; new functions being added any time there’s an outcry for new services, but functions being removed only when there’s a budget crisis) than of lazy or incompetent employees.

I love my government job, and I work hard most days!

Problem is most Government workers, across the board tend to vote for one political party…gee, guess which one?

Ask any nurse employed by the Dept of Veteran’s affairs how hard he/she works. My bet is most people could not keep up that pace in their day to day jobs.

Government workers include soldiers and congress of course. And police, fire, teachers…
