Smoking gum galore! Barry Chappell of Los Angeles, Calif., USA, chews medicated gum to curb his smoking habit, and after 6 years of chewing 95,200 pieces and wadding the gum into a ball- it has become a massive 5 FT in circumference and ways 170 pounds! Believe it or not! Believe it or not! Elephants walk on their tippy toes! About 40% of the world's skyscrapers now under construction or in China!

All that gum is going to produce a lot of flatulence. How weak willed is this guy if after 6 years he is still trying to give up smoking. Or has he become addicted to chewing gum?

Elephants tiptoe in order not to unbalance the skyscrapers or step in gum.

What some people won’t do for a little media attention! Saving all his chewed gum indeed!

Medicated gum? Nicotine gum is the correct word. Six years and still hasn’t kicked the habit. Nicotine ‘junkie’.

Does the chewing gum lose it’s flavor on the bedpost overnight?

There was a picture on the internet recently of a building, about 8 stories(?) slated to be an apartment building that just fell over sideways, practically still intact. Looks like with a block and tackle they could have put it back up again.

Barry should take up a better habit like milking King cobras. Giraffes walk on their tip-toes,too. The Empire State Building will soon be the smallest skyscraper.

If I recall correctly, the Flatiron Building was the first to be considered a “skyscraper.” Since it is still standing, I would say the ESB is far from being the smallest skyscraper.
