You can lead a horse to water, but you can’t make him drink. Some students drink deeply from the fountain of knowledge, others just rinse and spit. Agnes grabs a coke.
Agnes is very comfortable in her own reality. .Trying to introduce her to the real world wouldn’t really help her. Besides, she’s not real, just a cute idea who may have a few counterparts on our plane of existence..Instead of worrying about her, we should worry about her poor teacher and principal because they have to deal with her counterparts..And I liked the statement, “- – - Agnes grabs a coke.”
I too like …. Agnes grabs a coke….. and later in the school year, she will sit back in her chair, put her feet on her desk and take a gulp of that coke. But not swallow. Instead, Agnes will aim for the ceiling and try to paint very interesting landscapes. .Much to the chagrin to both her teacher and principal,
