I don't care if you friend Bronkowski skipped junior high to enter the draft. If Bronkowski jumped off a cliff, would you jump off a cliff?
Kids these days, yes.
Hey, I see a good cliff I jump off of it. Don’t care if someone’s there thinking about jumping or calling his mother, for me it’s gang way.
How many times did you hear that as a kid ?
I always found that rebuke nonsensical. If everyone I knew had jumped off a cliff, then they must have a darn good reason to do so, and I probably should follow their example.
What if the cliff was only 3 feet tall?
Why not just peek over the cliff’s edge before deciding?
“But all my friends are going to college, mom!”
“So. If they all jumped off a bridge would you go to?”
In the words of Tommy Smothers “Not Again”
If his friend Bronkowski earned $100 million for jumping off the cliff, would she stand in her son’s way?
