Not quite how they pictured this tender moment….

We’ll be getting LA’s weather soon. Sounds like it’s already starting. Glad we don’t have to go anywhere tomorrow.

St, Patrick’s Day is over here. I hope everyone had a good one.

Has Burl ever been on Terra Firma?

Burl probably thinks that Terra Firma is a male enhancement cream. Sadly, so does Joy.

Wow… this might be the first time I ever felt kinda …. almost …. but just not quite sorry for Burl…

I mean, after all, he did come up with the idea all by himself, when he saw Joy’s reaction to that old movie scene….

So I give him some credit for trying to be romantic… which doesn’t come easily to his selfish nature…

I mean, he didn’t just go out and buy her a….wait!! ….. stop! I get it…The idea wasn’t just to do something romantic…

It was to get credit for being romantic… with hardly any effort, and without spending a dime!

    Meanwhile, Morning all….

I guess we were first — we had our heavy rainstorm Friday, before it headed south to GymShoe and then on to Marg….

I drove through it for 30 miles on my way here, then Saturday was merely overcast.

Typical N CA weather report for Sunday, though … there’s only a 30% chance of precipitation, but a “slight chance of thunderstorms” which “may cause small hail.”

That’s called hedging your bet.And they pay those people.

Grog said “St, Patrick’s Day is over here” !!Whoo hoo! Let’s go to Grog’s house!

Hey, I just noticed they drink V6. Probably cheaper than V8. Their slogan: “3/4 the vegetables, 2/3 the price!”

I think every guy, at some point, has stumbled or done something embarrassing while trying to impress a woman. Even more embarrassing if you just met or haven’t known each other long.

Good morning everybody, keep your feet firm on the terra.

Good Sunday morning all! I let myself sleep almost to 7 today and I can see we had a good rain last night (more than a sprinkle). Can anyone read Burl’s satchel? It seems smudged when I enlarge _____ souvenier?

@Susan, not that I think even low sodium V8 is all that healthy, but by Penny standards I can’t imagine!

Looks like “the road to hell is paved with good intentions” here. poor Burl’s ankle is gonna hurt real bad later on, but not as bad as his pride.

After last night’s rain (news said it started 2AM) there was another storm with a little thunder and lightning and mostly heavy driving rain but less than one hour. We are supposed to be highs in low 60s until Tuesday (fine with me because I have pool service coming to check on problems with pool scrubber and regular cleaning of the waterfall system) Cool weather means no building algae while I wait for the appointment.

Hard to show my waterfall now that the trees have grown more. This photo with 4 little neighbor girls who used to visit back when it was very new (concrete mermaid at the top). My neighborhood is always changing and the kids who finished my butterscotch this week are a newer bunch. Yesterday they invited us to their little garage sale and I bought a few little things that I might use. I enjoy the kids and don’t even mind when they interrupt my reading occaisionally.
