Jeff has finally impressed his father, and now he fondly wants to relieve his dad of mundane worries. It’s the younger generation telling us everything’s cool and our social security is safe. If Rick believes that, he’s ready for the rest home.Joannie stands in a similar relation to Alex, whose disconnect from reality frustrates her, yet she’s her grandmother’s lifeline to the political future.

Hopefully Jeff will enjoy the ride for a while before he spins out of control.

There is another possible outcome, and that is Trudeau will allow Jeff to become even more and more “successful” and insufferable. Jeff could become the epitome for those who acquire wealth through no particular outstanding accomplishment and in spite of themselves, and then complain about how they are “the job creators” and shouldn’t have to pay higher taxes and so on. It rains on the just and the unjust.

Translation: “I have not the first clue about any of that, but I’m darn sure not going to let you know it.”

You guys are forgetting: Jeff is a total dreamer. He dreams up “his” adventures as the Red Rascal, doesn’t he? Well, he also dreamed up his conversations with Becca, and with the realtor, and now this conversation with his Dad. Jeff is really down in the basement dreaming all this. That’s all he’s good for. Anything else would be dangerous.

Thank you for what is reported to be upcoming in Doonesbury about Texas laws for women. We are Texans and this slipped by us by a too-sneaky legislature and we are horrified. This needs all the light upon it that is possible.

The Red Rascal sells because people are yearning for heros. If you’re missing a hero in your life, you don’t have to look any further than the Lyndon/Williams case on Judge Judy.

Jonny Rotton is the only person I have ever seen stag on Judy and prevail. Rotton even got Judge Judy to call Williams a Nud Nic. For his courage, Lyndon will always be my hero.

He could become quite good…like such a wannabe as Clancy, hero worshipper to the core.
