I was always happy with babysitters and tried to be on my best behavior so that they’d be back, but I know kids think it’s like having a substitute and they want to see what they can get away with. My kids try to see how ticklish babysitters are, so I have to have long talks with them about appropriate behavior beforehand.
Huh? Today was supposed to be the April 11, 1983, not the April 18, 1983 strip. I wonder when the week of April 11 will appear in the rerun. What some people won’t do to spoil my prediction; really!
Agreed! I haven’t seen them from the beginning either. I didn’t start reading them in my daily newspaper until sometime after April was born so there are several years worth for me to catch up on a daily basis here through Go Comics. I don’t want someone giving me their “predictions” as to what’s going to happen next when they know darn well what’s going to happen next, which spoils it for the rest of us! Why do people insist on doing that to other people? It drives me absolutely nuts!
Kids seem to be keen on breaking in the new sitter. It’s a test. My three were a great trio to babysit, especially our middle child. Sitters remembered him for a long time!

It’s the only prediction I’ve ever made here. Also, I only predicted the date today’s strip was originally published. To see the strip you have to click the link, something you have full control over. If you don’t want it, as you say, spoiled for you, don’t click the link.

Be careful what you wish for, Mike. Mom and dad might have asked Calvin’s folks for a recommendation, and your new sitter could be…ROZ!
