And nearly 50 years later, what kind of shape is the world in today, with that average standard taken down a couple notches?

Linus is the major reason this comic strip was so good for so long.

That song by Barry Mcquire was a hit back then and told the truth of the world’s problems. Perhaps Linus knew this song. He doesn’t sound so average in his comment about the world.

The shape of the world is a mess…a complete mess.
