Now, now… Every taxpayer has his crazy ‘hot button’. “Provide chimpanzees and doggies with cell phones” or “I want trained and accountable police” or “Git Offa My Prope’ty!” or “Drinkable water from municipal sources” and junk like that. We’re all just a little cuckoo, each in our own way.

Greg – I’ve been railing against the Canadian Government since I was 15 to get rid of the penny! Half of my life, and FINALLY! HALLELUJAH! They are no longer minting the penny! Fact: In Canada, it costs 1.6¢ to produce a 1¢ coin!

Another thing about money and WWII… Income tax was only for the very wealthy before WWII- they expanded it to include everyone due to the war effort. Odd it was never abolished… seems like once the war was over… and they no longer needed the extra money… hm. Odd.

Animals don’t have cell phones? But I know a flamingo that has call wading. And a furry water mammal with otter dial. There’s a cheetah who uses Sprint. And a beaver who gets a busy signal. But the birds around here all use land lines. Makes their feet tingle when people talk too loud.
