Anyone old enough to remember “the promise of cable television”? That since you were going to be forced to pay for the service, there wouldn’t be advertising. Think about it. How much do you pay to watch advertising, paying to have people try and get you to spend even more money on their $&!^ ? You even get to pay to watch the cable/satellite company adds trying to sell you what you’ve already bought!
