And what’s that black diagonal bar for? Covert action, maybe? What’s Joy doing pricing condos; aren’t they already underwater in their present digs. They’d have already trusted Fred and taken out a reverse mortgage if they could. That Burl, he’s such a financial genius.BTW, congrats to my brother (but since he’s a priest, we have to call him “Father,” confusing, particularly when our dad was still alive.) for celebrating thirty years of sobriety. We raised a glass of…iced tea together.
Note that the company that “researched” their coat of arms is called "Regency Creations. "The hourglass is for “Time is running out… please send your check.”
And the four-leaf clover is for "Good luck to anyone who believes this kind of…. stuff. "And the shield means “Ha!! We’ve got lawyers.”Dale is obviously wearing his personal coat of arms. There’s a spare tire and a loose screw….but I can’t quite make out the third thing.Anybody?
If I were designing a crest for the Pennys it would be a penny, wearing a dunce cap, being pinched by a crab…flanked by hippopotami rampant.Hmmmm…. I thought the happy face was wearing a crown, but as it’s on Burl’s cup, it’s probably a fool’s cap.Meanwhile, Marg that has always been one of my favorite cartoons… so funny! It’s been drawn, stolen and redrawn so many times I can’t find any info on who created it… But I’ve always thought it looked like Brevity strip. Six — maybe so.If you enlarge it enough to really get a better look it just pixelates…
Oh my! Is Julie contemplating having the Pennys move to a condo community?!?!?! Shudder the thought! Imagine all the havoc they could accidentally wrangle if with a larger community. The world has been safer with them in their rather isolated, little suburban ranch house. I think I will need a bowl of my stronger pipe tobacco if that is the case.
Good morning all! I decided to use my coat of arms (registered in SCA since the Pennys are talking arms today. Mine have a cockatoo, because the one at the court where I am in my play world had one as the favorite in the aviary.
A coat of arms is used to identify friend or foe across a field when distance is too great to see faces. My parasol has alternate fields of the upper and lower parts.
I now read ’The dinettes set in my newspaper because I object to some people using the comment section as their personal Facebook page….. I no longer read comments, rathjer I just comment in the blind…Today… I want to acknowledge the GB with OG….. ! ! !
My arms have a field of stars for fair weather and the cockatoo who is my soulmate with a chevron dividing the fields. I always prefer RWB and gold and dress that way normally.
Well, I lost the directions on how to post a link, but I alsways liked Henry Mancini. This one’s a godd one to calm me before heading to bed, like I am doing now.

Hi ALL! Tired of comics? Google “Decorah Eagles” and watch mom and pop caring for three chicks. 24 hour/day coverage. (Keeps me off Gocomics)

Susan,
Could the bottom item on Dale’s “coat” be one of the finials missing from Burl’s chair?

I didn’t even think Dale could spell Yale, much less attend it.

in my college days, i got ceremoniously tossed out of a “jousting” tourney: my shield coat of arms was a replica of the old B&W tv test pattern….

Yes, 6, I did watch some of Benny back in the day but it has always been a bit of typical Brit potty humor
