Vacation Bible Schools around here use some of these elements (pirate ships! outer space! jungle adventure!) to keep the young ones interested. Plus games and snacks. Marketing religion to kids: good or bad? You be the judge…or not, lest ye be judged…there’s plenty of humor to go around, after all.

He died, but like many comic book characters, came back because fans liked him enough. ;-)But that’s beside the point, we’re talking about a much more important guy that wasn’t made in the funny pages. ;-)
