Actually it’s interesting to my little mind to look and see if some birthrates are more common than others. One “theory” I goggled was Oct 5th is the most common birthday as that would be babies who are conceived on New Year’s eve.
And it’s always fun to see what famous people share your birthday. I share mine with Anne Frank, Jim Nabors, John Linnell of They Might Be Giants, and… um, George Herbert Walker Bush.
We set far too much store by the two parties, and make it nearly impossible for anyone coming from another mindset to get a chance. But we’ve somehow honed ourselves to the point where we must reason only in extremes. If I say that the Summer is too hot, I can be sure someone is going to say “Would you rather it be freezing?” As if those are the only two possibilities! Maybe I’d prefer a Spring or Fall day. And maybe I’d prefer leadership that ’s moderate as well. United we stand, divided we fall- and we are so far from united.
This is one of the most childish games of divisiveness going on today. Anyone we don’t like for any reason is likened to Stalin or Hitler, or someone so extreme as to make the comparison ludicrous. “My neighbor never mows his lawn. He’s like Hitler.”

Every day is somebody’s birthday. Ply me with food and drink, and I’ll help you celebrate.

I get so tired of people bashing each other over political stuff. I’m not sure whether the anger about it or the vagueness is worse.
