REX MORGAN: I hope when Iris asked the hotel clerk if he thinks she’s a dimwit he doesn’t answer in the posotive. Looks like Rex and June will have a house guest, much to Mabel’s chagrin.

NOLA: Another reason it’s better to help other people rather than get them fired is because they might be following you with a bottle in their pocket. Obviously, it’s Mr. Smithers. Is the bottle in his pocket because he’s been driven to drink or because he Knows Nola’s favorite haunts are upscale boutiques and he expects to wreak revenge? Or, he might be someone who just intends to harm Nola and an object lesson may follow.

At the rate Mimi is going she may miscarry.

Teh: I often “friend” people who seem familiar or who have other friends in common with me, but I don’t remember seeing the name MB or Teh. I tried looking for all combinations of the name without success; it’s not possible to find someone on the basis of their avatar. Is the avatar you use in this section a representation of you? I certainly hope I’ll be able to connect.

REX- Whoa there cowgirl- maybe if you get a Shriners hat, they’ll give ya’ll a cot in the bunkhouse! :-) Time for her to call June for a place to hang her hat, she was invited there in thefirst place anyways!

3G- OK, let’s see Margo with her toolbox

MW- Alright, here comes “Chester the molester” packin’ 80proof- now Mary can start on a new “Real” case

JP- A BIG CONGRADULATIONS GOES OUT TO “FLORCHI”, you nailed it on the female shooter!!

JUDGE PARKER: I am not surprised that it was the First Wife. What happened to the assassin’s knife (last panel 3/18)? Good to know the police are nearby…ha ha ha. REX MORGAN: @SWEETBILL: Yep…looks like Iris will end up staying with Rex & June.MARY WORTH: @Arye: I agree that Guy in panel 2 is most likely Smithers.PHANTOM: This confrontation has gone from lucha libre (free wrestling) maneuvers to pugilistic punches.

FOXTROT: I am guessing that Eileen promised Jason they could do something at her house that would really make his heart flutter – e.g., play a new computer game.

Phantom – the Phantom has dropped his sword. The Tigers right hand which he held his sword in is not visible in the second panel. If he hasn’t lost his grip will he swing it at the Phantom’s midsection?Mark Trail – now here’s a reason to use exclamation points. This strip overuses them. Arye Uygur – I’ll send a message from facebook tonight. I wasn’t on it this weekend. Annie 2003 – David is that the Asp in the helicopter or a local?Rex Morgan – maybe Iris’s accent was so thick that the city slicker who took her reservation couldn’t understand her well enough.

Phantom—This Tiger must be tough. usually P knocks them out with one punch. How can you have lucha libre when you are using swords as weapons.

Mary Worth—Looks like Smithers has gone of the deep end and is looking for revenge.

Mark Trail—What good does it do for them to run as their faces are on tape.

Mark Trail – How can Mark make them stop if he didn’t bring his gun?Phantom – I think he knocked the sword out of Tiger’s hand so now it’s mano a mano. General questtion: Has it been the same Phantom since 1939? I wonder if they will ever show the son taking over.Mary Worth – “Actions have consequences” and “we reap what we sow”. Any one of us could write Mary Worth.Judge, Rex, and Mandrake are moving right along.A3G – Scott is getting more and more concerned, and he’s right.

I posted this late yesterday and it may have been overlooked, so I’m doing it again:Thanks Florchi for the links. The Phantom continues to be one of the consistently best drawn strips and the plots are entertaining. I still like the panels of the artist just previous to the current one (Terry Beatty). Also his strong lines.
