He’ll be so impressed Burl….

Leaky is doing fine. He got his staples out today, and sees the Dr. again in two weeks. Don’t know when he’ll start therapy.

Thanks for the update on Leaky, Marg.I’ve been wondering how he’s doing.And Hi Leaky, if you read this yourself.Sigh….. I’ve TOLD you not to play with staplers.I didn’t think you were even allowed near pointy objects anyway.

Meanwhile….. Hello Crustwoodians…. each and every one of you.Yo know, usually I can follow Burl’s twisted “logic”… not really a point of pride, no… but at least I know what he means.But this time, I just can’t figure out why he thinks having an efficiency expert watching him every minute means he gets to slack off.Huh??They finally found some keys to hang on their rack… of course they’re lost ones.And Joy is blatantly drinking from Marlene’s cup, she who accuses friends of pocketing plastic tableware.Is the thing I think is the mouse really the mouse? It seems to have little round ears, but no pointy nose or other features. I’m not on my own computer… this is an old one with a small monitor so it’s hard to see some of the detail.

Is that supposed to be a Ding Dong in his hand? If so, it’s the wrong shape. That’s more like a Ho Ho.

Looks like the efficiency experts report will just say, “you can improve your production by 500% just by firing Burl Penny”.

Clueless. Totally clueless, that’s Burl. The though just occured; did he bring that box of Ding Dongs home when someone left them behind?I love Joy’s “To Do” list. She’s so busy, y’know. The Pennys are so lazy their hearts—if they have one—beat only once a day.

The “Find It” today is tricky. The one on he chair is a decoy. There are two more in the Ding Dongs box that Burl found in the abandoned unit.

As a one time Industrial Engineer; Burl is a great study subject. The kind where I’d get back to the office and say: “Hey, you’re not going to believe what I saw today!”.

@Susan- Burl’s logic seems always to be a lack of it. Everyone knows any company would be better off without slackards like that, but there are plenty.

An Efficiency Expert is looking for ways to improve productivity. Burl is just making the EE’s job easier, he’s helping him out.

I would have liked to see what Leaky would have said today. Words just fail me today.

AND there is a blue mouse sitting on the top rail behind VERL’s head…. ! ! ! ( Her tee starts with “get off my back” )

Burl better be joking . But he probably isn’t . The thing is Burl’s type survives somehow.

BURL is my roll model… I like the way he is able to see the bright side of life…. The efficiency expert will have the time of his life…. and file a glowing report for BURL…… ! ! !

Burl is the most efficient goof off ever.Instead of giving away the coffee cans, punch holes in the sides/bottom with a large nail. Bury them in the ground next to your tomato plants. Then, pour the water into the can. It leaks out the holes and waters the roots of the plant instead of running off the ground.

I did time studies and improved the designs for one of my early employers (even designed a machine to replace the most boring manual job that none of the workers wanted to do. I was earning minimum wage at the time (suburbs) and left them for double the pay, but I provided forms of my own design to do their estimating. I’m quite proud of the work I did for every employer.

I was only in engineering businesses (storage has no technology). I don’t have much in common with the Pennys
