Rodney, Just go and tell those pesky PETA people that there are fish drowning in a lake and see how fast they get off the road.

PETA people are fine by me. Except somehow, having been an old farm boy, I still worry about human kids getting enough to eat and to school in this country more than I worry about rabbits and rats being used to test sweeties’ very expensive facial cream.

A PETA group in England a while ago was protesting lab experiments being done on animals. When they saw that the “animals” were leeches, the protest kind of evaporated. Easier to protest on behalf of cute, blue-eyed animals.

PETA? I’d think it would be the tree-huggers that protested a wooden horse.

I remember a billboard on I-90 in 1996 when I took a trip west that stated that Animal Rights Activists were unwelcome in South Dakota. (Miss the good old days and the Burma Shave signs)
