Why does the guy in P3 look like he is holding a football at baseball practice?

P2 – When I saw the picture I thought it looked fairly realistic for a fast pitch softball follow through. Then realized it was supposed to be the shortstop making an underhand toss and I take it back. It should have been a double play, had she not threw it so hard the ball landed on the boys’ practice field.

They’re saying this might be the best Lafayette Generals team since ’72.

The batters stance is an interesting cross of Eddie Murphey and Suduharo Oh.

Is the batter in P1 lifting her leg to take a leak?

I really dig Al-Jo, though the abrupt change of action in panel three threw me off.

It’s the Lafayette Generals, all right. They’re the softball equivalent of the Washington Generals, who lost about a thousand games in a row to the Globetrotters. But they were being paid to lose.
